Self-report to investigate metacognition growth in writing

This study aims to describe the validity and reliability of Metacognition Growth Questionnaire in writing. Using a quantitative approach, measurements were made metacognitive growth questionnaire, which was developed based on process theory, consists three, parts: raising awareness, monitoring/evaluating, controlling/regulating. A total 30 students randomly selected be used as test subjects for questionnaire instrument. The items is known by using bivariate product-moment correlation test. Alpha Cronbach. results showed that many 40 declared valid, overall, reliable. Thus, can measure students' metacognition
